So today was temp day two, but I don't wanna talk about it. Let's just say I was there a little too long and now I'm tired.
So instead we'll talk about Kayne.
I'm sure most of you have seen/heard about his VMA debacle. Simply put, the man walked up on stage and took the microphone Taylor Swift in the middle of her "Best Female Video Artist" acceptance speech to tell her that Beyonce's video was the best one of all time. And left the poor girl feeling like a fool.
Now while his action was incredibly tactless and quite stupid, some people are going too far and claiming that "he hates white people" and how his action represents black people everywhere. Now honestly c'mon folks--making assumptions is what gets us into problems. Let's acknowledge the man made as BIG mistake and needs to learn some tact or at least when to not say things and leave it at that.
And let's admit. The video is funny. We all enjoy watching people being miserable (Youtube is a testament to that) and the look on Taylor's face is hilarious. It's schadenfraude people.
On that note, Kanye's stupidity inspired an entire site called I'mma Let You Finish. Check it out.
