Halloween hooray!
So today I went to work in a last minute costume I call "1950s teenager".
High-waisted jeans with rolled up cuffs [just under the knee], black tank top and a cardigan sweater.
All topped off with the Dorothy Dandridge wig and sneakers with rolled socks.
A few other people at the office dressed up as well. One of the interns went as a "brokeback" cowboy.
A staffer named Rosie went as Rosie the Riveter. There was a guy with a huge [more tall than wide] afro wig, a woman in a bunny princess outfit and a dachshund in an angel outfit.
The only costumes I've seen outside the office was a receptionist dressed as a pirate.
This is just one of those Halloweens when the spirit is a little weak. But on the upside, I might go to a party tonight as Tia Dalma...we'll see.
