Two True Detective Vids: Sinnerman & Broken Drum
Over the past year, I made, returned to, and revised two True Detective vids (season 1). One of them, Sinnerman, was going to be my VVC 2015 vid until I hit a wall with it. The other, Broken Drum, was in some sense a warm up vid, but in the end might be the more successful of the two, I'm not sure.
I have conflicted feelings about True Detective, to say the least, and that manifest in the making of these vids and in the final product. It almost manifest in my not sharing them at all but in the end, I'd rather share them.
I could say more but... for now I will just share them. They are in a sense two musings on a theme, from different angles, with different degrees character study and critique in each. I would love to hear your thoughts, including ambivalent ones, should you have them.
