This is gorgeous. I love how you capture the disturbing aspects of the show, and I love the mix of long shots and microcuts.

Thank you!! Re: the disturbing aspects, the show is so pretty, but it's not *just* pretty, and I tried to get that across. But guh, there were some beautiful long shots to choose from.

So very glad you liked it!

Belatedly, thank you for this lovely comment! And yes, Fol Chen (and Simone White, the singer) are both worth checking out in full (and Sufjan of course...)

Love your icon :)

Ohhh, I love how you handled the source and how the editing is so quirky along with the music.

Thank you!! <3 <3 Seriously, no one seemed to get this vid, and I didn't think it was *that* out there, but it certainly was a bit non conventional--this is the one that I feel like was more defensively aggressive than I intended... and thus just didn't resonate with VVC expectations and got misread. But I'm so so glad to hear that you enjoyed it!

I see the vid as being more musically oriented than most vids. I your vids I always feel that the music is equally as important as the video. The editing is a bit anachronistic with the show atmosphere, but I think that can be hand waved because it's a vid. It's not conventional, certainly, but I found it enjoyable. There's a lot of talk about how vids for conventions are different than ones released online. While I understand the concept, I don't understand the execution differences.
