I must be crazy
Well, I'll be out of touch for the next few days. In the morning, I'm North Carolina bound. It's about a 3 hour flight from here. The time has arrived for me to put my mother-in-law in the nursing home. Her children refuse to help because she's very difficult on her best day, and this is not her best day. Currently, the situation is complete chaos. Daily, she calls with another emergency . All of these imagined traumas can be worked out, but she's justifiably very nervous about all these change in her life. Unfortunately she's exhausted most of the people who once cared about her.
In many ways, this move is the end of the line for her, and she knows it. Please pray that I continue to be patient and understanding with her. Truly, I want to do the right thing and ease this transition. I'm sure I'll live to tell this story and be back on-line on Friday. Until then be safe and happy.
