I thoroughly enjoyed it, personally. Scientifically, it...left a bit to be desired, but I thought it was a fun ride. Since I've only ever really been into TNG, having read Poldy's reviews of TOS was useful since I knew a bit more of what to expect from the characters. I think Alan did but forgot to mention it to anyone else. I could see it after I thought about it, but yeah, did not see that. I did really enjoy the movie!

I did not spot Winona Ryder independently, nor did I figure out who the hell Winona Ryder could have been during that ninety-second interval between her name flashing on screen and the credits proper.

(Also, I think Kirk was just giving green girl the old frat-boy commitment-avoidant blowoff. 'You love me? Hey whatever, babe.' Fatherless Kirk's kind of a dick that way.)
