Hey muns~! ACTIVITY CHECK. HERE IT IS. READ WHAT'S BELOW, THINGS HAVE CHANGED.
We know it's hard to sometimes meet the requirements so we've loosened them up a bit. From now on the following criteria for what allows you to pass an activity check is as follows:
THE NEW ACTIVITY STANDARDS
Canon Characters- Two threads: one formal; one not-so-formal
1 OC- One formal thread or two informal threads
2 OCs- One formal thread for one OC and one non-formal thread for the other
3 OCs- Two formal for two OCs of your choice and one non formal for the remaining one
Mix-and-match depending on which characters you have and two journals are still required for all characters.
Now you may be wondering what a informal thread may be, but it's pretty simple. In fact, HERE ARE SOME EXAMPLES: 1| 2| 3| 4| 5. In the end, it's basically anything that's over a thousand words, whether a phonecall between two people, an AIM thread or when you happen to write up an entire scene, like in Example #5 or even some of the Murder Game posts where the scenes were written out in their entireties. If you ever wonder if something counts as a informal thread, you can always ask one of the mods and we'll be more than happy to answer!
We are implementing these changes THIS activity check to see how it goes so please answer accordingly.
EDIT: Okay, just to elaborate on what constitutes as an informal thread: As this is a thread instead of a journal, we expect some level of interaction with other characters to take place. This could be comments and replies to an action thread, a joint effort to fully write out a scene, and so on. Note that we don't consider interaction as a passing mention to another character.
