[Mod Post] Announcements/December Catch Up
First of all I want to apologize as a mun and a mod for my lack of activity and not always being on top of things. This first quarter has been far more brutal than I ever expected and I’ve been on the verge of dying off and on since it started. Lately I’ve put modwork before mun activity, but I really don’t want to abuse my standing as a mod by getting a free pass in terms of activity, so if my own activity doesn’t improve once this quarter ends, I will do the right thing and drop one of my characters. /hicsob
Now onto more important matters!
December: Catch Up On Them Threads Month
Right-ooo. So, as mentioned earlier, December will indeed be a month of everyone catching up on their threads~!
So how will this go down?
Any incomplete threads that you’ve join in on during your run here at lolocracy can count in your tally, whether they were started a month ago or a year ago.
This is NOT including threads with characters’ whose muns have left or changed or group threads with more than five people (exceptions for the latter will be made if by some miracle, a group thread is completed).
Now to make things a bit more interesting. PRIZES.
At the end of the month, instead of our usual activity check, we would like for you to post the number of incomplete threads you have completed. We will tally these and those of you who have the largest amount of these, will receive prizes. And just what are these fabulous prizes you ask~?
First Prize: Six months paid account
Second Prize: Two months paid account
Third prize: One month paid account
If, by chance, you already have a paid account, the alternative prize will be more icon space~
Now. Please no shady business when it comes to completing these. Say, for example, wrapping up every incomplete thread you have with one or two tiny posts. Such antics have license to disqualify you from having a shot at winning.
Also, we realize that it’s a bit of an unfair advantage for the older muns, which is why we will allow threads that are started and completed in December to be included in the tally so newer muns can have a fighting chance.
HOWEVER, be warned: Every thread that is started in December and remains incomplete at the end of the month will count against you!
I think that just about covers everything. But if it doesn’t, please feel free to ask!
Also! November Activity Check. It will be up…soonish. As will a post about the Secret Santa. Watch for them!
