It's offtopic tuesday, so I'll ask you, my friends... Do you cry while watching movies/reading books/listening to music? And if you do, what are the movies/books/songs that just reduce you a sobbing ball of raw emotion?
I personally cry easily in movies, much more easily than in real life, but here's maybe the top 3 list (because I'm too lazy to think of all the movies I've cried in) of the movies where I haven't just shed few tears. They have made me WEEP. Like, really, with snot and throat pain and moaning and the headache that comes afterwards. The order is #1 = most tears, #2 = a little bit less and so on.
#1 Avatar
(Don't look at me like that.) FULL STOP. Blame it on my hippie heart, the visual effects that were so pretty that were almost enough to make you cry by themselves, the fact that it was my first 3D picture in YEARS or that I am just weird like that, but I SNOT-CRIED FOR 1/3 OF THIS MOVIE.
#2 Finding Neverland
SO MUCH HAPPY TEARS. It's the "clap your hands" where I always finally lose it if I haven't lost it already.
#3 Paha maa (Frozen Land)
So much Finnish angst that you don't even know. I swear, this movie could make you depressed on the day you marry the love of your life and give birth to your first child. SO MUCH MISERY.
And now to the offtopic of offtopic...
