Pink flamingos aren't really pink

Aug 07, 2012 20:56

Believe it or not, but my exam phase is over.
At least for this year, the next semester it will start all over again~ (for the last time!)

I've learned, why flamingos are pink and why leaves are getting orange in the autumn, why mushrooms are almost the same as insects and why it's wise to put some strychnine in your heroin before use.
Funny semester it was.

(There were also some pretty syntheses routes for cocaine and black pepper extract - Walt White would be pleased with me. By the way: can't Skyler just take the kids and run for her life? Preferably to elope with Saul :D)

So, to return my brain to it's native empty state, (by the way, according to our lectures, brains are just power lines and soft matters containing fat and sugar) I'll be off the Internet for almost two weeks. Afterwards there'll come: moving to the new flat, one more presentation and two weeks full-time bimolecular labs. But truth to be told, right now I'm too tired to even care.

In-need to recover (seaside, sun and even more seaside, please) --> see you again after I've stopped to see molecular structures while looking at food :)
(I really feel with BBC Sherlock now. It's awful to have such penetrating subs attached to the world around you.)

P.S.: Also, I'll try not to sound like some Sir Boast Alot but - my first professional publication is submitted to the Journal of Biophysics and if I'm really, really, really lucky, it'll get published and I'm just so high right now, I can't even believe it! *___*;;;
