One of my late arriving yuletide goodies showed up. One of my friends gifted me with Jenny Jochens' Women in Old Norse Society. I had a xerox copy version from my thesis research days highlighted, underlined and scribbled full of notes, so having a nice pristine book is really nice. :)

The latest missive I received from Amazon mentions a new book, that seems just up my alley, and the alley of some of the folks I know.
