LONDON: 2/9/11

Feb 09, 2011 11:58

Officially been here for a month.  I really felt like a Londoner yesterday when I was catching a train--and I mean catching it.  With my hands.  I grabbed inside onto a pole and kinda swung myself in; it was great.

Yesterday was all about relaxation, which was well due I think.  I wrote every bit of my essay with the exception of the conclusion, went out and bought a BOOK (yes, I have time to read one of those now...eery) by Neil Gaiman, and had a nice Wagamama lunch overlooking the high street.  After that I came home and got my laundry, which was all warm and fluffy, and took a shower.  Then I watched my 3 favorite English shows (IT Crowd, Mighty Boosh, Little Britain) and eventually went out with a friend to get mah intoxication on.  Guinness and white wine--I'm steamin'.

Today I woke up feeling rested (first night in a week I haven't been woken up halfway through by the roomie), and the sun was bright and shining.  To celebrate how good of a morning it was I put on my new dress and my pumps.  Ow ow.

What I'm excited about at the moment:

1. Going to Cardyff this weekend!
2. The Parents are coming up in two weeks!
3. I finally start my internship soon!  I can officially say I work in the London film industry.  Ee!

EDIT:// the PM
