I was warned about annoyingness, particularly in that "look, we are lampshading possible prejudice! also minorities can use that status to get ahead!" vein. So I'm not as annoyed as I would be. Plus I hear it gets better. But "fake worthiness" is how it comes off to me. And I like Rachel, Finn etc but the only character I really like is Puck. We'll see though. I do love me a song and dance number.
It wasn't that I had a problem with Sheldon's portrayal of OCD but, rather, his friends actions concerning it. There was this one scene in particular where Sheldon is doing laundry on his laundry day and Penny physically stopped him from entering the laundry room so he would do something for her. I have been in situations before where someone triggers my OCD (unintentionally) and I freeze and am completely unable to move or function or do anything. The idea that one of my friends would intentionally prevent me from doing a ritualized behavior to get me to do something for them is really disturbing to me. I tried to get into it again by watching some bloopers online (because the show is very funny) and there was a moment where the actors laugh after Jim finishes a ritual ([knock 3x, "Penny"] 3x)and they laugh because Penny has opened the door already. I become so uncomfortable when someone "catches" me doing something that does not make logical sense but I need to do, so it is just too hard and hits
