FOR MEEEEE and just, ridiculously hot. It is less than 1000 words and it killed me dead, I am so impressed. Ron is all sulky and IC at a Malfoy Manor party and Draco comes up to bitch at him to mingle and OH RON IS MAKING HIM COME AGAINST A WALL, WHOOPS.
Okay so I basically just accidentally recapped the story in capslock. So I’ve deleted that and will just say: go and read it, it’s scorching. I like the part with Draco crumpled against a wall and tousled and Ron smacking his arse.

More blazingly hot Ron/Draco. Pouty, drunken Draco goes to confront Weasley, who can’t possibly be gay, and immediately he’s held against the wall by his wrists and kissed and Ron keeps him in place even when he’s clearly happy to be there. Super-hot with those unexpected sexy details

frayach. Harry/Draco, ~5600 words, NC-17; biting, loss of virginity.
I suspect the vast majority of H/D people on my flist have read this already, but I want to rec it anyway because OMG. Blazingly sexy, and I love the second-person-POV choice. And it has this element of a lost/lonely Harry who’s pretty sure he’s always going to be alone finding love and a kind of redemption through kink and that is one of my absolute favourite things. (See also:
ravenna_c_tan’s Burning Day.) Also, this Harry and Draco’s terrible dates and difficulty finding the way to each other make me so happy. And virginal!Draco... unf. I love it - especially, because I am a bad person, the idea that Draco doesn’t know being bitten until he bleeds is something unusual in sex. Lush, sensual descriptions are all over the place of course, since it’s
frayach.
Plus it’s based on amazing, sexy art by one of my absolute favourite fanartists:

Tissue of Silver by fearlessdiva. Harry/Draco, NC-17, ~57 000 words; an instance of highly dubious consent between the boys.
This is an old fic, but it’s fantastic, and not as oft-cited as some others - so to all relative newbies on my flist, a gift. This was written pre-OotP, I think, and its Draco is a seer. In some ways it’s like reading original fiction - because this is post-war, and these people are all carrying around baggage that we didn’t see them acquire in canon. But it’s so excellent. And there are some very recognisable IC moments, especially for Harry.
It’s long and it’s plotty and it’s full of emotion - there is a lot of angst - but I always reread it joyfully. There’s such a sense of fun, and it’s full of letters which are witty and full of character, and I just. HURRAY. And the happy ending feels so thoroughly earned.
Thor fic
Kisses That Bring Thunder by
sarkywoman. Thor/Loki, with Loki/Wanda, Loki/Steve, Loki/Tony and Loki/Wolverine kisses, ~2800 words, R.
I reread this more than once during my lurking-in-Thor-fandom period. It’s a Five Times fic - Loki kisses four Avengers before he gets to Thor - and it has pitch-perect moments for each pairing and Loki angst and a happy ending.

Loki, learning to sneak through walls, gets stuck halfway through Thor’s bedroom wall. Thor has some fun with his brother’s lower half. I have such a humiliation kink, and I love how the brothers stay IC - Loki snarling and sly, Thor the teasing older brother - throughout. SO HOT.

Steve loses his virginity in a hook-up with Natasha. It’s sweet and sexy and lets Steve have actual urges, plus Natasha is amazing and Steve is adorable. And the closing Avengers-ensemble scene fills me with joy.

My favourite of three young-Asgardian pieces by Noiry. This is Thor and Loki as young men, off adventuring and being silly. This is the two of them fighting a bilgesnipe. It’s beautiful, especially the colouring and composition - and I just love them fighting together, each in their own way, young and happy and in slightly over their heads. ♥
