Drunken dancing! Fifteen characters meme
OMG you guys.
I went out tonight (last night?) with Miss Godfrey, her boyfriend and Mr Blond Ambition. We got extremely pissed beforehand (I went through a horrifying amount of vodka, it’s a miracle I didn’t throw up, frankly) and hung out. Miss Godfrey’s boyfriend (who is going to need a nickname) and I bonded massively over loving the Mountain Goats, and ended up howling along to This Year while the other two looked on in bafflement.
But Miss Godfrey is obviously very pleased that I and her boyfriend share something that allows us to sing loudly together while he plays air guitar.
We went out; had a great time but danced surprisingly little for us, really. (I think because Mr Blond Ambition is actually not much into dancing, and Miss Godfrey felt awkward about being all CUTE DANCING HETEROSEXUAL LOVE in a gay club, which is sad but I get it.) And when we got back I found myself unable to sleep.
I still haven’t been to bed and made up for the deficiencies in dancing tonight (oh Violet, I missed you so, we would’ve been dancing together to the end) spent over an hour dancing in the sitting room after Miss Godfrey and her boyfriend sacked out. It was completely ridiculous: I was wearing a black cami and overlarge tartan pyjama bottoms, with four-inch heels peeking from underneath, and gyrating to the ipod. I’m still feeling very awake but most of the Restless is gone, and anyway my ipod’s gone dead. :)
I am likely still a bit drunk... but I nearly fell over a significant number of times when I started dancing and that’s stopped. Hangover averted!
Is it bad form to do a meme when you’re still working on the last one? I’m just so awake and I wanna PLAY.
Hmm. Let’s do ‘Fifteen Characters’, that’s a classic. I’ve made a list of fifteen characters - the characters are from Harry Potter, Buffy/Angel, White Collar and Doctor Who/Torchwood.
