Why yes, I am still alive.

All appearances to the contrary, I am still a mostly functional human being.  I haven't been around much the last two weeks or so, for which I apologize.  Between 10 hours a week of rehearsal, having some numbskull back into my car in a parking lot, and the drama and general schlepping involved in moving rooms in my house from the teeniest to a more livable size, I haven't exactly had a ton of time to write, let alone energy.  However, as I am now about 3/4 installed in my shiny new room, which no longer smells like cleaning products, and I have two spare braincells to put together, I thought I would at least say hello.

Other things in the state of me:
- Devlin has written me the next letter in our co-writing project.  Yay!
- I had a lovely lunch with LawyerBoy yesterday.
- I have a new desk that needs a lot of refinishing and such because it is actually an old desk, but it's pretty and the right size and classy and well built, so that's my project for the next few weeks.
- I have a new bookcase which is actually new and all lovely and curvy and nice warm wood, courtesy of Ikea.  \o/
- I have finished the rewrite of "Fish Girl," I think, and will be hopefully working on letters and inquiries for it and "Shimmers and Sea Stars" in the imminent future.
- "Chiasmus" is woefully stalled, due to the aforementioned car accident, room switching, and insane hours of rehearsal.  Hoping to beat the rest of it out this week so I have time to revise before submission deadline.
- I had 2 STRAIGHT HOURS of dancing the Spanish Panic in rehearsal today.  All the muscles in my body hate me right now, and hate the choreographer even more.
