Oh, Lifetime movies... and a bit on Flashpoint
So I just finally finished a Lifetime movie on Hulu... Fatal Trust...
I watched it because it had Amy Jo Johnson. It was... um... a good movie to watch while rolling magazine pages for a craft I'm working on. She was good, but... um... yeah.
It was interesting, to me, anyway, that her love interest was on Flashpoint this week and she got to babysit him and try to interrogate him. And the villain was creepy as fuck, although I'm not so sure the writer researched poisons well. I'm not an expert on snake venom, but I'm pretty sure you have to get it into the bloodstream. He painted it onto some dude's steering wheel. I'm thinking even if the guy has really dry cracked hands the best you're gonna get is maybe an allergic reaction. You can ingest snake venom and live. Unless you have ulcers/stomach bleeding. Then you're toast.
So Flashpoint this week...
the consensus on Tumblr seems to be "No Jam!!!!!!!!!!!! OMG!!! WHAT'S THE POINT???? INEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEDJJJJJAAAAAAAAAAAAAAMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMM!!!!!!!!!!!!" I was starting to think that they wouldn't be happy about the baby unless they got to see conception on screen.
I LOVED it. But it had Dean and Clark, whom I love, so it made me happy. Some fans actually like Greg and Ed and their families. ::sigh::
But omg, Dean and Clark! It's like Ed and Greg, 2.0. I had so much fun with that episode! I still had some issues with it and the season in general. but I enjoyed it. I'm getting a bit tired of the "cops crossing the line!" storyline. It happens and it's a good storyline, but two (and sort of 3, ish) in the same season? Although that's probably more the fact that they know the series is ending and they have to tell all the stories they want to NOW.
Anyway... some thoughts of mine.... also? Headaches suck, the "Holidays" are worthless, and I hate customers.
