Radio1075FM (1:38:10 AM): Well, I had a fight (kinda) with my girlfriend the other night, and I got pretty steamed, so I went for a walk. I walked the whole length of the street in front of my dorm at about 2 in the morning, watched it shrink from one of the town's main streets to, literally, somebody's driveway.
Radio1075FM (1:39:08 AM): And I was standing in that driveway, looking across the way at the highway, and then I looked up at the stars. I saw the constellation Orion, which the Egyptians thought of as Osiris, the god of death and rebirth.
Radio1075FM (1:40:01 AM): And then, quite literally, the lights went out, and I saw the god. Osiris. I mean, it was the constellation, of course, but I saw Osiris. He was there. And he talked to me for a little while.
Radio1075FM (1:41:12 AM): And basically what he said was this: life's a cycle. It's a circle. It's the great river. The water in the river goes to the ocean, and then it evaporates and comes back as the rain, only to find itself back in the river again.
Radio1075FM (1:41:55 AM): Everything is a circle, a cycle, a river. And everything that happens will change, in time. And everything that changes eventually changes back into what it used to be.
Radio1075FM (1:42:54 AM): If things are bad right now, that's okay- the river never stops flowing. You'll get to that part where the river is high and the current is slow and the sun is perfect again, soon enough.
Radio1075FM (1:42:57 AM): There's your cliche.
