Arne leaves Wolfsburg
National player Arne Friedrich is not playing for Bundesliga club VfL Wolfsburg anymore. The contract of the 32 year old and currently injured defender has been annuled.
"Today I asked VfL Wolfsburg for the annulment of my contract", Friedrich wrote on his homepage on monday. The contract, originally valid until 2013, was cancelt in mutual agreement, it was put about. "We regret that, but wish him well for his future." Vfl manager Magath was quoted in a club announcement.
