Several days ago my mother described to me a cake she called “Ambassador” she ate way back in '70s. Her description was quite good and so I attempted to recreate the cake, while adding a Christmas flair to it, since it IS Christmas. I made this cake for Christmas this year and it's awesome! And i know that because half is gone already :/
Tho, instead of coffee I'd recommend adding 3/4 cup of water and 3/4 cup of either Kahlúa or Cointreau for that little orange-y taste.
