So, it's September. I think my new rule of thumb is to update every six months. I need to keep some mystery about me! Otherwise, why would anyone read my entries?
[that question was merely hypothetical]
Classes are going smoothly. I'm the fastest pattern drafter in all of East Lansing! I'm thoroughly enjoying the book for my literature class. It's called The New Life and it was written by Nobel Prize winner Orhan Pamuk. He is actually coming to campus in October to speak and I'll get a free ticket to see him. I'm impossibly excited. I'm trying to think up insightful questions to ask.
Romantically things are tangled past the point on knots...double or triple knots even. But every experience happens for a reason, and I'm trying to learn about myself as well as what I want from love. I'm hoping to be back on my feet come Christmas, but who can say what the future will bring.
And now, after dinner consisting of a tuna sandwich, carrot sticks and a glass of wine, I will resign myself to a Thirsty Thursday of Pamuk and vinyl. Just the way I want it.
