WE are the world?
I dunno if y'all have seen the new version of "We Are The World," but it sucks. Somewhere between Miley Cyrus and the rap breakdown it definitely loses something. Granted, I was never much of a fan of the original cuz I thought it was too sappy and cloying (people disagree w/ me, that's cool), but still. This? This just seemed like some people deciding to dig up a dead horse and decorate it w/ pictures from Teen People.
Yes, we need to reach out and do what we can to help out those in need, but we don't need to drag up every person that's had a semblance of a hit on top 40 or has a video on MTV. I'm disappointed by this. It was cool to see people like Celine Dion, and Jamie Foxx's tribute to Ray Charles, but for the most part I just didn't see why some people had to be a part of this. Lil Wayne is not a humanitarian.
