2009 Stanley Cup Finals: Detroit Red Wings v. Pittsburgh Penguins
THAT'S RIGHT, MINNA-SAN!!! GAME 7!!
Sweet mercy, I NEVER SAW THIS COMING. I haaaaaaaaaaaaaaate, haaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaate the Red Wings so much, but ever since I read that article on Maxime Talbot and Tyler Kennedy's interaction with that one Penguins fan in Raleigh and most especially after Chris Kunitz's trade to the Pens, I've just fallen in love with this team.
That being said, I don't want to fall for the same trap that I did with the Calgary Flames (as in, putting all of my fangirling and money into a team based in a city that I ABSOLUTELY CAN'T STAND). Seeing that I've never been to Pittsburgh before either, I'll need to be a little more careful. But on the other hand, I am DYING TO GET MY HANDS ON A CHRIS KUNITZ OR MAXIME TALBOT SWEATER.
Oh, and I also wanted to mention: There's a SHITLOAD of Penguins fans on Twitter and LiveJournal. I can't believe how many I've met online and how cool they all are.
