This is so lame.
Today I went to Ithaca with Al at 8 o'clock in the morning on very little sleep for no good reason. The Commons can be very surreal when you haven't slept.
Then I took a nap for three hours. Then I went to work. Then I came home from work. I smoked a few cigarettes in between.
Then I took Spock for a walk. Spock, I believe I have neglected to mention, is Al's dog. He's very bright, but had the worst case of canine ADD I've ever seen. I've prescribed 20 mg of doggie ritalin. Maybe then he'll lean to play the piano when I tell him to.
Nobody is in town. Lovely night, though. In the Price Chopper parking lot, the lights blot out all the stars, making it easy to see planets-- I saw Mars and what might've been Saturn the other evening.
And yes, I am bored. What are you?
