So today I finally finished Devil in the White City and read a Dresden Files short story by Jim Butcher called It's My Birthday Too.
Devil in the White City is a non fiction book about the 1893 Chicago World's Fair and the nation's first serial killer. The book is amazing. As a rule I'm not a fan of true crime and history books can be dry but I was blown away by the quality of the writing: Reading Devil was like reading fiction.
As for the Dresden short story if you LARP you should read it.
