I need people this thursday for a music video.
I need Geeks, i need Nerds, i need Cosplayers, i need LAN gamers, i need tabletop(D&D)
It's for a music video that'll be up on Youtube and possibly elsewhere as a marketing tool for Lucient Spiders this Thursday at 8pm at the campus of the University of Michigan-Dearborn.
Pizza will be provided.
Video will entail a documentary-style walk-through of three separate areas:
1. LAN gaming. BRing your laptop/desktop, World of WarCrack or Starcrack, etc.
Console gaming may be a possibility, but secondary.
2. Tabletop gaming, with dice and books and DM screens.
LARP gamers secondary, in costume.
BYO character sheets.
3. Cosplay/Anime/DDR
People in costumes.
People playing DDR.
People in costumes playing DDR.
Be prepared for rehearsal. 3 verses, 3 areas for the camera to walk through. Setup (LAN and console/DDR. Cossplay costumes. LARP costumes.) and pizza at 8, start rehearsal by 9:00, wrap up final filming by 10:30-11:00 for final shoots, inserts.
Props. Geek props. Gamer props. Mountain Dew. (Empty) cans of Bawls/Red Bull/energy drinks. Cheetos. Roll to see if I'm getting drunk. TVs for console games. DDR pad. Hubs/routers/switches for LAN gaming. Costumes for LARPers.
Okay. WHat am I forgetting?
Also? Be great if I had a PA for lighting. And a second camera/camcorder for backup (no synch sound)
NO WEAPONS ON CAMPUS. Leave your fake swords and guns at home, please.

XD I don't even know the band, but I'm curious to see how this would pan out. Wonder if Jacky & Paul want to spend their birthday being part of a music video?
