Lobster's Notes, 19 July 2009
NOTE: This material only exists, ICly, in The Lobster's mind. They are reproduced here for my reference and others' OOC entertainment.

* Police officer, found a child's corpse, with... buttons sewn in in place of his eyes, while on patrol this morning.
* Says there doesn't appear to be any sign of injury as a cause of death.

* Also on the scene, took pictures of the corpse.
* Says he's working on it with reactionary. Dreiberg also has a costumed identity, then? Investigate further.

* Added first name to "Miss Jupiter."

* Asked about preaence of sulfur or "black goo" at the scene.
* The "black goo," according to him, would've been ectoplasm, if the culprit was a ghost, or rather a "vengeful spirit," as they operate in his world.
* Hunted such things in his world.
* Obviously, I may have to step carefully around him.
* Although others seem to have difficulty believing him -- or, worse, accuse him for suggesting the possibility -- which can make him a little angry.

* Went to the place where the body was left.
* Powers apparently include seeing back in time as well as forward.
* Identified attacker as being "eight-legged" and spider-like.
** Child was taken before Godzilla's attack, but his body's only now been found.
** It "went inside," and made him smile -- telepathic? No, Blindfold suspects an illusion of someone/something the child trusted.
** After the eyes, it took the child's soul, and fed upon it.
** Chances are good that there will be more of these deaths, if it's a kill to feed. The beast will get hungry again eventually.
** Targets children, because they're easier to lure in.
* Blindfold could sense that I was listening in.
* ...And sense what I am. Knowing that she's psychic, I should've expected that.
* But she's agreed to keep it to herself, and I think I can trust her. Good enough.
* ...She called me, "Mr. Lobster." Better than "Mr. Johnson," I suppose.

* Performed post-mortem examination of the child.
* No signs of injury, poison, infection, or other physical/medical cause for his death.
* Is quite willing to offer the supernatural hypothesis. But then, as a ninja with literal personal interaction with Death, he would presumably be pre-disposed to accept the supernatural.
* Consumption of the soul probably accounts for the injury-less death.

* One of the Lilim, a sort of demon.
* Serves the Morningstar -- meaculpable -- although Lilim in general do not.
* Has offered to help catch the killer.
* Is also a bartender, presumably at Lucifer's club.
* Will be examining the body.
* Is doing it either to pay off a favor owed to someone, or as a favor that someone will owe her later. Which and who as yet unspecified.

* Thought she might've had an idea about who did it, eye-trauma related, but something didn't quite add up.
* Will also be examining the body; may or may not be getting official permission to do so.

* Talks even less than I do. Possibly even less than reactionary.
* Doesn't seem to have any issue with bathing in irradiated fountains.
* People taking a particularly keen interest in her: Mazikeen, hellsing_dog, Death, iruledeadpeople (who I still don't know much about yet, but Mazikeen's interest in him remains telling). If the pattern I'm thinking of is there, that would explain my own sense of her.
