Long Week!
Its been along week for a lot of people down here this week and I am definitely one of them. The symphonic band concert went fairly well on Wednesday night. We screwed up a little bit but it wasn't terribly bad or anything. My mom flew down here for the concert, which I thought was very a nice of her. She came to the Kappa reception after the concert and got to meet a few of my Kappa friends. Lets see what else went on this week, homework as usual. Had to read about 100 pages for English. I went to the Jazz band concert on Thursday night, as I know a few people in there. Boy my friends in both jazz band and symphonic band had a hard week, concerts on back to back nights. Today the 2nd of the 2 assistant director candidates directed the symphonic band and fielded questions from students. I think I like the first guy a little bit better but either one of them will be excellent candidates. I spent tonight just sitting at home relaxing which was nice. I thought about calling someone to see if they wanted to hang out, but I decided we all need our rest after this looooong week! Had a good chat with my roommate Antonio after he got home about the 2 director candidates and what we thought about each of them. I guess I will go to bed now. Have a good weekend, and Go Lobos!
