Halloween in Vancouver....
I know its not technically Halloween Yet...
This time in Vancouver never ceases to amazes me..
I actually feel strange NOT wearing a costume...
Happy Birthday to Krista..well, it was on Friday, but yay!!!
Last week was a wonderful Week..
We attended the GO Conference in Kelowna, British Columbia..
from Monday to Friday...
At beautiful Green Bay Bible Camp...
It was good to be back..and good time to recharge.
It was strange, because as soon as I wasnt one of the people
actually running the day...I switched into Introvert mode almost
straight away...
I spent quite a bit of time swinging my legs over the edge
of a huge dock...speaking to the ripples in the water..to the mountains..
It was a good week for me...Got me thinking about my future...
*sigh*
How I long to travel the world..just live in the world. I dont necessarily care
where...just to live with people..immerse myself..learn languages..
connect.
There's so much more than whats in front of you.
Most of us will never leave the living room couch..let alone this continent.
But for now..I know that my place is in this wonderfully quirky city
of Vancouver...
We had two main speakers at the conference..one of them was named Graham Hackworth..
an amazing guy originally from Australia..but he's lived a lot of his
life in India as a missionary..
He came back with us from the GO conference, and cooked us a traditional
meal from India...including:
The Most AMAZING chai i've EVER had in my ENTIRE life.
It was bliss in a cup.
we should eat in a more..communal fashion in North America.
Its always about getting as MUCh as you can on a little plate..
instead of getting just enough of the best quality you can...
Anyways, I just watched Death to Smoochy with Krista and Ryan...
It was a funny movie. haha....
Ohhhhh Coruption, how you make me chuckle inside.
