Well... my Chicago trip came and went. Had two plane flights that were pretty annoying due to the people I was seated with /on the plane, along with one headache on one of them. Saw the eclipse w Mom in the backyard and the weather was flawless. While the sun was covered it got cold, which was kind of fun. I did have to tell her to stop picking weeds and just sit down, which she finally acquiesced. She enjoyed the eclipse. Then it was mainly she wanted to go out to eat a lot - too much for me, and now I'm a fat pudgy goth thing back at home, ugh. Dresses or Corset time lol. It was nice to hang out with her. She also wanted to go to Target and take me on a shopping spree for my upcoming birthday. It had been so so so long that I had just gone in a store and bought shit, I didnt even know how to do it. But I did find a couple of bikinis, BDUs, a little cotton PJ set, and a ridiculously fluffy warm long-sleeved undershirt thing for winter PJs. (I had last year lost the previous one I had when it fell out of my suitcase dont ask) It was an important piece of clothing, which I called my "warm-warm" haha. LJ you are the only one to know this information :P To have that replaced was a big deal. So that was all cool. At the moment.... I have so many irons in the fire, I feel incredulously overwhelmed. yes I'm using the word right. I am like WTAF. And now here comes my birthday month. What I have planned = Cem this wed, then the club where we will dress military for the occasion (Russian of course.. yes I know, booo) I've asked the 2 DJs to lean more on the Industrial, one DJ said he would, the other DJ acts like a friend- yet never plays my requests so who knows. Hopefully that will be a good night. Then going to the Edison which FINALLY opened again a few months ago after being closed since 2020. with my friend Ray. Possibly SW night May 4th at Das Bunker, but only depends on P who is working.. so maybe not. Later in the month, Malibu beach and Neptunes Net, with Ray again. (partly to scout for my June shoot but also - anemoneeeees!) Ren Fair last weekend it is open, with an old college friend Jordan, and MAYBE TDKs and their Co. Then P and I's birthday RGC (remote goth club) will be doing a "mad scientist" theme for the tableau. And finally, what I asked P to do for my birthday (after being told No for other things of course) was to watch some movies I liked via HS days that are pay-walled on Prime. I wanted to watch 6, he said 3. Hella lame & sad I have to negotiate the very least expectations for my Birthday. Next year I will not ask him to do anything for it. Hopefully the kids can come over and watch a film as well. It will be a fun weekend I'm sure.
