OK, I'm finally getting around to a post trip summary.

On the way out, I ended up getting stuck at DFW for a few hours waiting on a storm to roll through, and didn't get to DC until around 2am. On the other hand, I had a really nice late night conversation with my cab driver, and there was no traffic on the way to the hotel.

I just made all public posts from before 2007 into friends only posts. I think I'm probably going to do this at least once a year now, and I'll likely do something similar with my flickr account. Truly public stuff will probably all get moved elsewhere.

So, its been a month or so since my last lj post. I just haven't been feeling it lately, I guess. Lots of things to do, lots of other directions to go in. Lately, I want to do more writing, work on longer things, and take them to a more finished form.
