Next month is the Korean election. This means that a lot of banners popped up around town yesterday; and one candidate, in an attempt to garner support, has parked a truck playing his theme song RIGHT OUTSIDE MY BUILDING. It plays the "Jeong Dong Yeong" song repeatedly (seriously, the guy's name is the chorus. It's repeated about seventy times during the song.). Periodically, a woman comes over the loudspeaker and yells vehemently for a while. This has happened three times in the last hour; the rest of the time has been devoted to this song. Now a man is screaming passionately into the microphone. It makes me wish I were a member of the voting public just so I could vote AGAINST this person. :P
