We are the Champions

i sit here, at 2:12 in the morning, with no voice, $300 dollars freshly spent on burnt orange attire, happy as I have been in months. My Texas Longhorns are the national champions. Big whoop, you may say. As most of you know, i was a Texas Angel in college. We were a group of young women who assisted in recruiting players to the team. This team, the one that just hoisted that beautiful crystal football, was my last recruiting class. I could not be more proud. I am just so excited that we did so well. I can't wipe the smile off of my face. And i can't help but grin at the number of text messages i received saying congratulations....i didn't do anything, i just watched. but it's wonderful to see someone (someones!) i treasure so dearly do so well, and prosper.
