1. Reply to this post with "Unicycles!", and I will pick five of your icons.
2. Make a post (including the meme info) and talk about the icons I chose.
3. Other people can then comment to you and make their own posts.
4. This will create a never-ending cycle of icon glee.
So Sheryden chose:
Hotch has such an awesome 'disapprove' face, he manages to come off really grumpy all over really, until you get to know him and realise he's actually probably the most caring of the group. This was a charity icon from
scatterheart and it works really well for my grumpy/ranty posts. :D
This was made for the whedonland challenge 'famous last words', and the challenge was to take a quote from one of the Whedon characters and make an icon with no whedon images. The quote is from Alpha, back when we knew him as Stephen Kepler, and it's his excuse for the rather large weed factory he had going on in his apartment when the FBI agent walks in. I was tickled by the quote and the image was a random googleimages affair.
This one tickled me too, it's another charity one from
havenward whose prolific fandom work I really enjoy. Diana and Jones make such a comfortable team (much like Ryan and Esposito) and it's really nice to have that kind of dynamic duo with absolutely no subtext. They're just good friends and they work well together, even though that's not their standard working format. And even FBI agents can laugh. XD
Ah, the defiant. It makes me feel at home. :D The intrinsic joke is
here, but really I just love the image. I haven't had much of a chance to use it, I'm not very sci-fi in this psudo.
If you haven't watched any Green Wing... Well it's going to be very hard for me to explain Dr. Alan Statham. Green Wing was a (very British) comedy drama set in a hospital written by Victoria Pile, who has done several other seriously awesome British comedies. It was highly surreal at times, and sometimes quite slap-stick, but very very funny. This character an exaggeration of the worst things you might find in an important person in a hospital, but absolutely hysterical with it. You know there are people (almost) this horrible in the real world, but you've been luck not to meet many of them. He wants a car parking space, even though he he rides his bike into work, and as part of the highly surreal moments, he passes the camera a handful of times on his bike in some fantastically crazy stunt positions. This is one of the more sedate ones - he's only kneeling on his pannier rack - but it suits my crazy moments well.
