Well, it's not a dial anymore, but you old people (like me) remember when it was, right? :P
Here are some things I'll watch at times:
Modern Marvels (History Channel) - I like this series, however, it seems like when I'm ready to watch it, it's always some boring subject like corn or copper.
American Pickers (HIST) - Mike and Frank have made a living off other people's junk. They travel around in a van across the USA digging for hidden treasures in houses, garages, attics, etc and buying them from people in order to resell them for a profit. Clearly, Mike and Frank don't have enough to do.
Sliced (HIST) - I don't see this on anymore. Jim something or other slices things apart (literally) to see how they work. I liked the one with the hair dryer and the Magic 8 Ball. I truly believe he gets off on doing this.
Silent Library (MTV) - Youg men (sometimes women) usually compete to win money for doing stupid pranks in a library. The catch is they aren't allowed to laugh. The criteria is that it has to be gross and no one would ever do this unless they were drunk or stupid or both.
True Life (MTV) - I guess it'd be called a reality show, but it's the best reality thing the channel has to offer. Young people with a problem/condition/disease, etc and how they cope with it.
Animal Cops (Animal Planet) - It can be hard to watch this since the animals are in abusive homes, but it's rewarding to see the "animal cops" to their jobs and save the animals so they get adopted out. Personally, I think we should just string the offenders up by their balls and be done with it.
The Doctors (syndicated, I think) - Four doctors in a "View" style type show discuss a wide variety of medical issues. Travis Stork (the hot one) is a good reason to watch. Oh, and to learn things. :D
Anyone have any guilty pleasures/little known shows they watch?
