I am completely devastated about the bushfires that has raged across Victoria. Everytime I see the news the death toll has risen. It hit so fast, people couldn't get out in time. The latest count was 75 people. I can't help but be so upset. These are people are loved ones, someones family, child, Dad, Mum, brother, Uncle, sister, Aunty, cousin. They are people. Those lives that were lost can never be replaced.
Over 700 houses were destroyed and hectares of bush has been burnt and all the animals as well, all gone. All burnt It is the worst fires in victorian history, maybe Australian history. Worse than Ash Wednesday in 1983.
We are also having floods in northern Australia - Queensland. But with floods, it is a natural phenomena. The fires that have hit across Victoria and NSW are mostly started by some dim witted fuck wit who has no concept of what his/her consequences will reap. Arsonists are the lowest form of life. The are morons of the highest order. They need to strung up and set alight. I'm feeling very angry. They are murderers.
What drives a person to set fire to the bush intentionally? What sick buzz do they get from it? Do they not know what the consequences are, especially in the dry Australian climate? The temperatures have been very high lately, in victoria it has gotten up to 46c. The heat wave has just hit NSW.
Arsonists are an abhorrance, and in my strongest words - ARSONISTS ARE FUCKWITS.
