(no subject)
Funny what a difference half a day can make. Not that I'm in a much better mood than I was last night, but at least I am feeling slightly happier. The main highlight of my day was going to manga, with my computer. Once again I failed to have a decent (anime-related) conversation without descending into fangirlism (note 1: yes, whining on about two different series will bore and annoy people). The one constructive thing I worked out, with the help of someone with far greater an understanding of computers, was that, lo' and behold, it was Norton that was preventing my laptop from accessing the College network. Well, that and the fact that the connection is rubbish in the Arts Building. I did, curiously enough, acquire a DVD of fansubbed episodes of Code Geass: Lelouch of the Rebellion which is fast becoming my new favourite anime (note 2: for the love of god, do not rant to burner of said DVD about anything ever! Again. It makes you look like (more of) a bloody idiot.)
Other than that, I have received another lovely response to Thirty Seconds More and have to figure out what to reply to
rainy_elysian's positively ecstatic reaction to my 'review' of the third part of Itazura Na Unmei. Somehow I think a simple "glad you liked it" would sound like I'm taking the mickey. I might get round to working on some fanfic tonight. It's a toss-up between a sequel to Crossed Lines and finally, eventually, edging False White closer to completion. I just had to start with something tricky, didn't I....
Edit - Huh? I thought I'd set the times of this thing to GMT? *sigh* I don't find the LJ FAQ especially comprehensive, but I've got to figure this one out. Otherwise the compulsive perfectionist in me will start to fret and whinge.
Edit 2 - *facepalm* Hah. I posted 'Notes to Self' past midnight 'last night'. Hence the fact both entries are listed as 28th Feb.
