The Barrayaran political spectrum
My sense is Barrayaran political gap between Our Heroes (whose day-to-day politics are seemingly somewhere to the right of 19th century Liberal Unionists) and Leftist Terrorist Assassins is profoundly artificial when you get down to it. A lot of issues are being carefully avoided.
How do you think the Barrayarans respond to outside/Betan critique of their system? Or inside criticism? Or anti-colonialist arguments re: what they've set up on Komarr?
