So my Arabic professor walked into class today and said, "I apologize if I'm a little distracted today. I'm waiting to hear if my cousin was killed or injured in the explosion in the parliament in Baghdad, so my cell phone is on. On second thought, I think I'll turn it off. If she's dead, I don't need to find out during class."

Seriously. What a mess.
