Writer's Lament

Hey, Inspiration? You can come back now... anytime... come on...

...Please?

Gaaaaah. I hate it when I desperately want to have written, but desperately don't want to write. I can barely get anywhere near writing mode right now. Part of it's probably that this term is nearly over and I've got a lot of other stuff to do so I have less time to coax ( Read more... )

Procrastination...one of the most dangerous self-manufacturing drugs to the human race. You WANT to write, you'd LOVE to write, you can't WAIT to write, an' yet you...don't ( ... )

Wow, you're really moving through them quick! I know I pretty much couldn't read anything else if there was a Discworld book yet to be read XD

Even in the midst of my love for the game, I admit: you're right. Pokemon is TOO addictive.

Hi, I'm littlecloudflower/windy, and I got an account!

You read the Tiffany Aching series! Yay you! I got to say, Wintersmith is the most awesome book ever! It's amazing how the beginning is parallel to the end, and it is really heartwarming! :D

Welcome to livejournal.

Yes, I've read all four. I laughed for one minute straight upon readin' the not-so-solemn crossing of the River Styx. Christ, those Feegles are TOUGH. What will it take to wipe out a whole tribe of them?
I think Nanny Ogg would like to be more involved in Tiffany's adventures, since she got a lot of chickens out of this one.

Despite his disease, Pratchett still pushes on with his novels. This is one guy who truly believes in Good Writing.

Ooh, I love that scene! Haha, Pratchett can make death so funny! :D (both literal and figurative, that!)

Ah, then you're more up to date than I am! Still haven't read the fourth one...^^;

Yeah, he's a real inspiration! He's not like some writers, who only do it for money. He actually cares a lot about it, and writes even with his disease.
