Bees are cool.
So, the "Good Deeds" theme response isn't happening this week. Hopefully early next week. Right now I have to write about bees. Yes, bees. Don't badmouth bees. Bees are awesome. Goddamn are bees awesome.
...It's for school. ...But I chose the topic! You'd think someone who admittedly hates and fears bugs wouldn't like bees so much. It's all thanks to a wonderful book I read called Letters From the Hive. I look at beekeeping now and say: that looks like an amazing hobby.
On a tangential note (not to bees, but to fics), I somehow got it into my head that I wanted to write something where Filia ran a blood-drive (charitable girl that she is) and wouldn't let Xellos near the blood. He took offense.
"I am not a vampire, Filia."
"No. You're worse."
...But considering the first successful blood transfusion happened in 1818, it seems a little advanced for Slayers. I mean, I already cheated and gave them a printing press. I can only screw the rules so many times.
