If I don't get out my Slayers related observations I *will* explode

There is a (about) one-second moment in an episode of Slayers Try that I've been obsessing over. I noticed it when I was taking screenshots and it's been buzzing around my head ever since then.

It happened in that episode with the shrine of the God of Marriage and all that. I'm fond of this episode because 1. It's hella shippy. 2. It breaks up into different group dynamics than usual. and 3. It proves that Zelgadis/Lina doesn't work (I AM SO RIGHT ABOUT THIS).

But it's the hella shippy part I'm focusing on. After the unconvincingly disguised Jillas (seriously, are you guys stupid or something? It's like how Ash never recognizes Team Rocket in disguise) informs the characters that they will be paired up into a boy girl coupling that signifies "The God's chosen pairings" there's a very quick pan that shows the characters reactions. The pan goes by so fast that since I have inferior screenshot capture technology (Windows Media Player + PrtScn, babeh) I've come up with two crappy, low quality halves on the pan. And believe me, I tried to get this several times. This is the best I could get.

What's neat here is that pretty much all of them seem to think they know who they're gonna get paired up with. The only one who's hard to read is Zelgadis, who might just be rolling his eyes and no doubt reflecting on how "ridiculous" the whole thing is. Amelia's looking at Zel though, Gourry and Lina are looking at each other, and surprisingly enough so are Filia and Xellos.

The same Filia and Xellos who will be indignantly "Objecting to this coupling" two minutes later.
Not sayin' anything... just had to get that out.
