Humane Society
Jenn and I just got back from our Humane Society Volunteer Orientation. It was a big turn-out, I don't think they expected as many people.
We're both going to volunteer as Dog and Cat socializers. It's a nice opportunity because we both love animals, our local shelter is within walking distance of our house, we can volunteer at the same time, and they're flexible with their hours so we can continue volunteering into the school year.
It'll also be nice experience considering that eventually I do want to get a dog. And hey, volunteer hours always look nice, especially considering that I'm unemployed. That I've never been employed.
