wishing only wounds the heart
Some things, in no particular order:
i. Water woes are over. We got hot water again on Friday. Yay!
ii. When I took this picture back in December, little did I realize that Gus was plotting my poor mug's death.
Alas, my wonderful 10 cent garage sale pottery mug did not survive its encounter with gravity and cat's paws. I've saved the pieces and we're going to try gluing it back together. (I'm trying not to be horribly materialistic and just let this go, honest. But I really liked this mug.)
iii. Not unrelated to the demise of my mug at all, guess where Gus figured out how to get?
If you guessed 'top of the fridge,' then you're right! You get... a thumbs up and a smile.
iv. I hit 25k on Tess. With my estimated 75k to finish, that means I have a third of a book. Hurray! And I finished ch6. Double hurray!

v. I'm so hungry. I should end this post now and go make dinner. I'm not sure what I'm doing, but I know what the ingredients are: spinach, tomatoes, maybe red bell pepper, shrimp, parmesan cheese, milk, garlic, white wine, maybe some basil or something, and angel hair pasta. Pretty sure I can't go wrong. Nom.
