yet more about the weather
Things that made me happy on the weekend:
- re-watching Buffy right now, and I got up to Spike's first appearance, and Oz's. <3 "Who IS that girl?"
- Geoff and I took advantage of Sunday's gorgeous weather to go for a walk. I love the first nice weekend day of the year, because so many people come out, there's such a joyful quality to the streets and parks. Also, we saw some people out suntanning. I feel like that's a very Canadian thing... it's above 10 degrees! Time to bust out the beach towels, short-shorts, tank tops and sunglasses!
- I caught up on the laundry. The laundry pile was growing fangs again, but I entirely vanquished it.
Today... what made me happy today? A friend gave me a Harlequin to read that she gleefully assures me is terrible, so that will be fun. And today has gone by really fast, filled with class and many conversations with different people. So considering it started off with me waking up with a headache so bad I thought I was going to be sick, today is doing pretty well for itself. (Headache is due to weather--grey ugly day here today, and tons of other people have migraines/headaches too. So nothing to be done for it except pop pills and/or sleep, and hope the rain comes soon. The rest of this week is supposed to be gorgeous again.)
I'm in a bit of a brain-dead state right now, so I'd better end this before it devolves into completely aimless rambling.
