(no subject)
In my tots class this week, I realized that my favorite little girl is actually amazing, also. Now, first things first. This girl was my favorite before I even met her, because I'd already met her dad. He is a slightly older, fatherly version of Victor Ratliffe, which gave him my vote on the spot. So, here goes. She is a 20 month old named Sophia. She saw a container of plastic animals and said, "Aminals. I Loove aminals!"
and I said,"Should we pour them out and play with them?"
S:Yeahhhhh. Look! A cow--moo! A horse--naay. OH A CATERPILLER! I LOOOOVE CATERPILLERS! TURN INTO BUTTERFLY!
And here is the kicker, folks. Her dad said, 'Yes that's right. and what is that process called?"
and just as I was thinking, "Dude, victor. She isn't even two. She doesn't know the word "process", let alone "metam..."
Then Sophia interrupts with, "METAMORPHOSIS!"
WTF? YEah, she's super my favorite.
Anyway, even though that happened almost a week ago, I've been waiting to document it. I figured I'd save documentation for the night before a tough final. THat night is now.
