(no subject)
hey everyone! well i've been in london for about a week now, and so far everything has been going great. i have met alot of new people and they are all so nice. i started my Huron class- Arts in London - and i like it alot. we went to the national gallery and i got to see some monets and van goghs- my favorite! then we went to tate modern and walked across this cool bridge. the museum was built in this really old power plant i think...so the outside of it is really ugly but the inside is SOOO cool!! the art we looked at was kind of weird but at least it was different. i think i'm more of a traditionalist when it comes to art- i love 19th C stuff.
so i went to my two interviews and i like both companies ok, but i am really hoping to work from Tom Dixon. (check out TomDixon.net). i think its awesome and its exactly what i wanted to do here. hopefully i'll here something soon.
London's a cool city but i miss the beach!! i want to go to southern france or greece and go swimming. haha.
i just talked to Sara! well kindof- through text message. but she'll be in london tomorrow - i'm so excited! and also i might go to paris this weekend with a few girls to see laurie. that would be cool. the weather is supposed to be great this weekend- around 80! i hope- i miss the sun. :)
