The last book I read for fun was... Wither by Lauren De Stefano
The thing I liked best about it was... It finished? Hahaha. No, I enjoyed the first half. The second half I just shouted at the heroine for being a lame example to women everywhere.
My fave fictional book character is... (and why) Morgan Leah from the Heritage of Shannara. Practical joker with a sword. My kinda guy.
Beth Riesgraf and Aldis Hodge say their theme tune is "Ebony and Ivory". What song makes you think of a Leverage character/pair of characters and why? Killer Queen by Queen is forever my Sophie theme tune. Protip: if you sing along with it when you're listening to it on headphones, make sure you're not in a crowded train carriage.
Quick - there's a pirate in the room you're in right now. What do you do? Laugh - I have whiskyinmind AND sigrundora in my room right now. If the pirate has mean intentions, he's pretty much screwed without me even having to get out of bed. If he has rum and kind intentions, well. I give it three minutes max for him to be whining about where his rum has gone.

Yeah, that's my favorite Leverage quote, as well. I waited the entire season to hear him utter those words.

The last book I read for fun was... Supernatural: One Year Gone
The thing I liked best about it was... Like all the best novelizations, it fills in canon blanks.
My fave fictional book character is... (and why) Moist von Lipwick, because HOMG my brain actually works like that sometimes!
Beth Riesgraf and Aldis Hodge say their theme tune is "Ebony and Ivory". What song makes you think of a Leverage character/pair of characters and why? "Seen Enough" makes me think of Nate every time.
Quick - there's a pirate in the room you're in right now. What do you do? Depends on the pirate.
Fave ever Leverage quote? "That's a lie - I *love* foreplay."

I do love that foreplay line.

Who does "Seen Enough"?

Dryer. I first heard it on Bones - it's got that "yeah I don't have a choice, but I'm really tired of fighting this fight" attitude that I really associate with Nate sometimes.

That really does sound like Nate. I like it!

The last book I read for fun was... I'm currently reading Storm Front, which is the first book in the Dresden Files series.
The thing I liked best about it was... My favorite thing is probably Harry Dresden's voice. It has just the right mix of wit, cynicism, and world-weariness.
My fave fictional book character is... (and why) Is it a total cop-out to say Sherlock Holmes? I loved the way his mind works. Oh, and there's also Snoopy. :) I love the way his mind works, too. And I'm actually not kidding, lol.
Beth Riesgraf and Aldis Hodge say their theme tune is "Ebony and Ivory". What song makes you think of a Leverage character/pair of characters and why? I'm No Angel by Gregg Allman makes me think of Eliot. So many of the lyrics just ring true for his character.
Quick - there's a pirate in the room you're in right now. What do you do? Depends on what he does first.
Fave ever Leverage quote? So many. But I think I'll have to say "My name is Nate Ford, and I am a thief." I might've cheered out loud when he said that.

Dude - have you slept yet?

For a little while. My body doesn't seem to let me sleep more than four hours at a time.

That sucks.

I finally got a decent night's sleep last night - even though I technically can't afford it, I broke down and renewed my allergy prescription.

Oh yeah - I woke up this morning to somebody blaming/thanking me for their shiny new Leverage addiction! Apparently they've read all my Ties That Bind stories without knowing who any of the characters besides Faith were, and finally decided to check out the other side of the crossover!

I also have my Roadhouse archive almost 100% up to date - just missing a few comment fics that I've lost track of - and The Ties That Bind 'verse master list is finally up to date and chronologically organized.

Yay for converting someone without even trying! I always sneak in mentions of how awesome Leverage is (for example in that Sons of Anarchy/Katey Sagal discussion I had last night I randomly thought of & pointed out similarities between the fandom treatment of Leverage and Sons of Anarchy characters *cough*)

The last book I read for fun was... Reading... for fun? I don't understand this concept. #sideeffectsofbeingalitmajor
Hang on, let me check my goodreads acc... Well, if audiobooks count, The Night Circus, if not... Orlando (yeah I'm reading Virginia Woolf 'for fun')
The thing I liked best about it was... The Night Circus - everything! The whole fictional reality, I adore everything about it.
Orlando - The portrayal of different eras all through the eyes of one single character.
My fave fictional book character is... (and why) Hmm. I think it's always gonna be Astrid Lindgren's Pippi Longstocking, because she's just extraordinarily awesome, independent and strong and I think every little girl should have read about her adventures.
Beth Riesgraf and Aldis Hodge say their theme tune is "Ebony and Ivory". What song makes you think of a Leverage character/pair of characters and why? I... have never really thought about it? Elvis Presley's Trouble comes to mind lol (although sung by Emily Skinner, tbh)
Quick - there's a pirate in the room ( ... )

I love that quote! That entire episode is just full of great scenes.

It's the only scene in any show that I know basically by heart lol It's brilliance makes nearly choking to death on my salad when watching it for the first time kind of acceptable.
