Long time no blog...
Here's a long overdue update on my life.
Carrie and I are engaged. We've been dating just over 10 months. We have not yet set a date but tentatively Winter or Spring of 2011 for the wedding. Looking to rent a house together and buy 6 months or a year after that. We went to Disney World right after christmas for 6 days, it was great fun but extremely crowded. Nice weather, it was in the 50s most days, and it rained one morning. There's lots of photos on my facebook. Also scored a week-long vacation sometime between now and 2012 for $599 (can pick any date), at the same resort. this also includes a one-bedroom hotel room instead of a studio.
Work is interesting and challenging but I haven't had a raise in 2 years :-|. We just came out with a big release that I played a major part in, so hopefully that will pay dividends. I've started playing WoW again, been doing heroics on my paladin, got my DK up to 74, and my Warlock up to 53. I've also been playing some Forza Motorsport 2, but otherwise no new games to play. I'm still working out with weights, trying to get down to 200 or so, I was down to 215 and ballooned up to 225 over the holidays (3 months off from working out) i typically do a 3 day split, Chest/Triceps, Legs/Shoulders, Back/Biceps/Abs.
We've also adopted Mom's kitty, boots. She is a little piss ant at times but very cute. And she's always hungry... which is very odd since she's much smaller than Kirby. Carrie has decreed that we're getting a greyhound once we have a yard, which I'm ok with since they don't tear things up inside and don't usually need training.
That's all for now, I'll try to be more attentive to this thing...
