Damn you UAC
I hate UAC, and Vista, and Server 2008. 3 hours of my life wasted because a DLL wouldn't load with UAC turned on. I install the app, struggle with registering dlls for 3 hours, then I turn off UAC and reboot and it's all fixed automagically! Good times.
